ALL PROSPECTIVE COACHES AND ASSISTANT COACHES MUST COMPLETE AND SUBMIT A NEW ONLINE COACH APPLICATION FOR EACH SEASON (TWICE EACH YEAR, SPRING AND FALL). Click on the big, green "Register Now" button on the home page of the website to fill out this form. BE SURE TO SELECT THE COACH APPLICATION (DURING PLAYER REGISTRATION, THERE WILL ALSO BE PLAYER REGISTRATIONS AVAILABLE UNDER THE REGISTER NOW BUTTON).
ALL COACH AND ASSISTANT COACH APPLICANTS MUST COMPLETE THE ABUSE PREVENTION TRAINING AND SUBMIT AND PASS THE BACKGROUND CHECK. THE ABUSE PREVENTION TRAINING IS VALID FOR TWO YEARS. A BACKGROUND CHECK MUST BE PERFORMED ONCE A YEAR.
The link to the training site and background check is in the Coaches registration form. Once you submit your information for the background check, a link will be sent to your email address for the Abuse Prevention Training. In February 2018, a Federal law “Safe Sports Act” was signed requiring volunteers to take abuse prevention training.
